(First thriller I read) This book is out of my comfort zone and I’m glad I read it. I felt very involved in the book trying to help with the clues and determine who was the stalker in the book. I never would have guessed who it ended up being though I had a clue. The book felt very adventurous and inviting and I couldn’t put the book down even as I was falling asleep reading it. Would def recommend for new readers for thrillers. Taking a minute to think after, I realized that I hated the ending (loved the beginning/middle)it felt really rushed and had potential for a great ending it was predictable in the beginning and overall could have been better but it’s a great starter book for readers trying new genres (like me)

Honestly it’s an okay book. The premise of the book is amazing, it’s just not played out in the best way possible. Like the ending leaves some unanswered questions & it felt too abrupt.

the ending was pretty fast paced and I liked the last couple pages where the Mira (main character) has a big realization with her mom

lots of things don't add up.
still don't get how that one hitchhiker kept finding them. where was Josh hiding their stuff? and whatever happened to the kid they ran over? like I'm sure the dad is itching to kill them all...ya know? for revenge. are they not charged with attempted murder or theft at least? did Josh know the flights were going to be canceled?

Picked this book up because it was based around the holiday times and had a snowy cover and was trying to get some winter vibes. This book did just that, it had me on the edge of my seat like a scary movie where you want to yell "Don't Open the door" but all the characters do the stupid things you tell them they should be smart enough to not do AKA going into a car with 4 strangers + add a blizzard on top of that.

One Sentence Summary:  Five young adults unknown to each other, try to make it home for the holidays....but someone seems determined to stop them! (dun dun dunnnnnn)

Reminds Me Of: Stolen by Lucy Christopher meets Survive the Night by Riley Sager

Three Reasons You Should Read This:
1) This author does a fantastic job with scary/thriller/mystery books for teens!
2) This is a perfect book to read during a snowy day!
3) You will be suspicious of everyone and won't be able to put this down until you find out who is the culprit!

One Thing You Should Know Before You Pick This Up:
I must admit I did feel there were a few loose ends I wish were wrapped up a little more clearly.  The last 20 pages or so are adrenaline filled and fast-pasted yet seemed to be in slow motion all at the same time, but when I got to the last page I did find myself wondering what happened to this or that person after the final event.
