A sexy short read with all the feels...

I love the premise of these women supporting each other as they move on from unsatisfactory lives. Josie and Jake have a sort of attraction at first sight thing going on then find out how compatible they are (I would say in bed, but they don’t use a bed that much). Yeah, it’s a sexy story. And a low angst romantic read.

Yes please

I loved this book. So much fun. Would have liked to see more between the full moons. The parts I did see I loved.

I am interested in the next book. This was such a quick read. It was perfect.

After a rocky marriage Josie Jacobson sole focus has been raising her son, two years of celibacy though has Josie jumping at the idea of a New Year’s resolution list that she is calling the “Howl List”. Every full moon Josie plans to explore her sexuality, first full moon she is seeking out sex with a stranger. Everything about Jake Stewart fits the bill of what Josie is looking for, however after one explosive night Jake wants to be the only person in her life helping her with her list. He knows she is hesitant, but he has the patience and with each full moon he ups the ante where Josie is concerned, for Jake has no plans of letting her go.

Quick review

Full Moon, the second book in this series, is Josie's story. In the first book we learned that Josie and her friends all decided to make New Year's resolutions for the coming year. This is Josie's story, and her resolution is to explore her sexuality after her divorce. So, each full moon, she has a new sexual thing she wants to try. First on the list is to have sex with a stranger. So, when her son is with his father, Josie's ex, she sets out to accomplish this first item on the list. She finds Jake, a sexy bar owner that rocks her world with great sex. He tells her he's will to help her out with the rest of the items on her list. So when the next full moon comes, Josie just might take him up on his offer.

This one was a quick and easy read. Mostly, it's about Josie discovering her sexuality with Jake, but there is a side story with her ex-husband. Given the length of this novel, there's not to expect some great character development. Funny enough, the character with most growth is a side character, Josie's ex-husband. Josie has some, but Jake has none. He's the perfect guy from the go, a little too perfect to be interesting. But sure, this short story was a small delight to read!

Meh. 2.5 stars. Rounded up only because I did like the characters for as much as I could like them in a short book. Some stuff was lame though, a full year of fantasies, yet we only saw through 8. What couldn't come up with 4 more? Guess not since they were all SUPER tame. Wow. On second thought, think I'm gonna round down after all.....
