Liz Danger is out on audio so it's time for a reread!

‐---------------

Just perfect. [b:Lavender's Blue|175578165|Lavender's Blue (Liz Danger #1)|Jennifer Crusie|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1688484218l/175578165._SY75_.jpg|187848459] is a cross between a rom-com and romantic suspense. It has all my favorite Crusie/Mayer elements: a strong, smart heroine who gets even stronger and smarter as the story progresses, a gruff part Alpha-part Golden Retriever hero, a wacky small town in Ohio, and lots of eccentric characters. I'm especially happy because there are two more books in the series!

There's a part of me that wishes it was available on audio so could work or knit while I listened, but I suspect I liked it even more because I read it rather than listened to it.

It was a lot of fun rereading this, but on audio this time. I loved Liz and Vince but I also loved many of the minor characters just as much!

------------------------

Most of my reading is done on audio while doing something else at the same time: working, knitting, spinning, driving, etc. I rarely sit down and just read. So ebooks are generally relegated to those times when I can't be doing something else, such as taking the dogs outside or reading in bed for a few minutes before lights out. Because of that, it tends to take me a long time to finish an ebook. In this case I was happy for it because that meant lingering longer in the world of Liz and Vince.

I just adored this series. It's funny and smart and sexy and just the right amount of quirky. I loved the characters - and many of them were definitely characters - and felt like the mysteries were strong enough to carry through the three books. And the funny little details - such as Liz's statement t-shirts - just added to the layers of awesome.

I'm already missing Burney and know I'll be back to re-read the trilogy in the future.

This was great! I enjoyed the mystery and developing love story between Liz and Vince, and I look forward to reading the remainder of the series.
