Finishing this book has me sitting with a lot of emotions. On one hand, I’m absolutely smiling from ear to ear. This installment was so cute and light hearted. Plus, [a:C.M. Owens|6461519|C.M. Owens|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1564608743p2/6461519.jpg] was really funny when she wanted to be! There was a scene in here that included a Trooper pedaling on a small bike, that I literally laughed until I had tears in my eyes. The ridiculousness and comedic timing is just so on point!
But, at the same time….I feel such a heaviness in my heart. I was hoping that this series may be wrapped up with the third and final book [b:Wilder|42301802|Wilder (The Wild Ones #3)|C.M. Owens|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1539530423l/42301802._SY75_.jpg|65954385]. That was answered after I read the back of the book of [b:Going Wild|36504672|Going Wild (The Wild Ones, #2)|C.M. Owens|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1509386075l/36504672._SY75_.jpg|58222593]; C.M. did in fact plan to expand on this series and I am terribly sad that she is no longer with us to see where she was going to take this series. She was such an insanely talented individual. With each book I complete of hers, I am reminded of her incredible talent in tackling so many genre’s and having executed them flawlessly in my personal opinion.
In summary, I loved Liam and Kylie’s story. It was fun to learn their beginnings and see how their relationship developed with all of the hurdles they overcame

Going Wild by C.M. Owens 🩷
The Wild Ones, Book 2
Interconnected Standalone
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Adult • Romance
Paperback Review
270 pages
🖌️ small town romance
👢 crazy people
🖌️ second chance
👢 craziness
🖌️ close proximity
👢 crazy town
🖌️ dislike to love
👢 found (crazy) family
📍“I’m not surprised that after three weeks of having Kylie to myself almost every single day, that I’m falling faster than is probably healthy. In fact, I’m positive I’m drowning.”
I think this is one of the very first times that the title of a book is quite self explanatory the moment you start reading. Or at least the moment you meet the wilds. Going wild is really quite accurate for Tomahawk.
So, if you’re thinking about reading this book (series) — which I highly recommend — make sure you’re prepared to #EmbraceTheCrazy .
And yet, also get ready to see two people learning their faults and vulnerabilities. Learning how to do better and be better. Not because of the crazy side of them. But because of the side that on one hand, chose a shell of a life and on the other, kept her heart too guarded.
And boy oh boy, do I love this crazy little town with four corners of wild 🥹 not you, Chester. Not you.
What a great company I kept this weekend. Don’t be jelly, be wild 😜

First book was incredibly ridiculous but enjoyable. This one is just absurd.

These books are so ridiculous and fun that I could break out in a River Dance right now. I haven't laughed this much reading in awhile. ⭐️

Not as good as the first one, in my opinion, but still good enough to keep you entertained with a funny and surprising plot and great characters.
