Very imaginative. Pippi’s certainly maddening at times. She does have grand adventures and is very happy! The book ends abruptly after her birthday party.

I have always known of Pippy Longstocking, but had never read the book or known anything about her beyond the hair. My kids and I completely loved this book. I was pleasantly surprised by how funny, ridiculous and eccentric she is. No wonder it's a classic!
