How I choose books to buy is sometimes a mystery. What prompts the purchase? In the case of this book, which I bought months ago, I cannot remember. Somewhere I must have read a review or a precis or blurb that spoke to me and made me want it. So I bought it and it sat on my Kindle for a long time and finally came up in rotation (I began reading my supernatural themed books). I am on the grave side of 73 and this book is a Young Adult novel not my normal choice of reading. Interesting premise..young girl with mind powers, an evil taking over people in her town, first romance, finding unknown siblings. I enjoyed the book and I was not disappointed in my purchase but somehow my gut says...what prompted me to buy this book. This is where reviews might be more interesting than the actual book.
