'Cloudy with a Chance of Witchcraft' is probably somewhere around 3.5 stars on my rating scale. The characters needed more depth and it felt like a cliched back-to-small-town setting kind of cozy book.

But one thing that I rarely see and that thrilled me here, is that characters are very upfront about everything. You know when you are reading something, gnashing your teeth, and mumbling "Just tell her/him already." Not here.
So 4 stars for that. :)

Overall, a cute and easy book, perfect for summer relaxation.

A bit of fun

I liked this story as it gave me a bit of a break from my regular reads but still keeping the supernatural element.

Really this is a 3.5, I liked the story but the ending felt rushed with a lot of glossed over things to make a happy ending.

So much fun!

Oh my goodness, I don’t know the last time I was laughing so much while reading. I’m pretty sure I had a huge grin on my face the whole time! I didn’t want the book to end! I wanted more! So much more! Brett and Poppy are so cute and I can’t wait to read more from this series.

Oh my heart. I love second chance love stories, and MMR puts it all together here. The sassy women, the town of Grimm Cove and the secrets it holds all wrap together in a nice snuggle blanket with a little added mystery. I have to say that Grandpa is my favorite right now, but Brett is right there with him.

Loved all the characters and the relationship building, even if the ending was pretty cheesy and wrapped up with an overboard HEA. Still a fun read that I'd be happy to revisit.
