After attempting Mrs Dalloway (which I did not get far enough through to even log) and now this short story collection, I can conclude that Virginia Woolf is just not for me.
I think it's the style of writing; I find it meandering and difficult for me to retain. More of a me problem than any issue with Woolf's skill.

Definitely a collection towards which I'll come back, I think a first read doe not suffice to grab everything out of it! As always with Woolf, beautiful writing and a fascinating mind.
