I reached for this because my grandpa was a huge elvis presley fan, and this was the first book i ever seen him read; it did not disappoint.

i love how it was written, and how lisa marie’s words are separated from riley’s. it gave a unique perspective and it can show how both can be unreliable narrators at times. my heart broke reading this, but there was also beautiful passages and funny lines. i enjoyed reading it so much.

Unofficial sequel to Pricilla’s Elvis and Me (though I preferred this). Parts written by Riley were heartbreaking. An incredible read, wish LM were still alive and the book was longer 4🎵

A really good audiobook listening experience! Julia roberts as lisa marie, riley keough as herself, and audio clips of the real lisa marie before her death. A really sad and beautiful story to read following priscilla's memoir as like a study in generational trauma. It's really lovely and devastating how much lisa marie loved being a mother.
