I've been hearing about this one on the internet, so I gave it a try, and I'm glad I did.

This is a very adorable and touching story. This is a great example of a great children's book - also enjoyed by adults like me.

I thought this is a book about Fern, but as the story goes on, her connection fades.
So, this is actually a story that focuses on Wilbur and Charlotte.

So wonderful! The audiobook read by E.B. White was especially good, thanks Charlotte for the rec! Though I'm not sure his Templeton voice was quite as good as Chris's.

I've wanted to listen to the audio version of this with my kids for years - but the only one I could find was E.B. White and quite frankly, his reading lacked the style that I needed to keep my kids engaged. This new audio version with Meryl Streep as the narrator was just so sweet. We all loved listening to it and I have to say - I like Kirby Heyborne as Wilbur- he also does the Narwhal books that my kids love so it was fun to catch his voice.

Children's Fiction

I read this book pretty young maybe 1st or 2nd grade. I remember loving it and I really wanted a pet pig after reading it.

Old Children's Book. Liked it as a kid, but haven't read it in years.
