The first and second volumes of Winnie the Pooh are really one long narrative broken up into bits, so it's hard to judge this one fairly. This volume does introduce Tigger, and stories involving or about him are pretty noticeably different but after a while he just becomes another character (not to say he's boring as a result, just that that is the natural course of the storytelling for it be balanced). I must say, I appreciate Milne's writing, and especially his poetry after reading far heavier books for weeks.

It’s a classic. It’s nice that the chapters are basically self contained stories. The dialogue was sometimes difficult to read out loud, because it’s Pooh, you know. And I love how the characters are so well develop and identifiable.

These are perfect.

In my opinion book #2 wasn’t as good as book #1 but it’s a wonderful heartwarming collection of stories nonetheless.
