The character growth was the best so far out of the entire series. This was a solid hurt comfort story. You’ll find lots of found family support just like the other books in the Dungeons & Dating series.
Zim Avaltrades is a new to me narrator. She did a good job! Roxie’s voice was a little inconsistent, but since she isn’t a MC I’m not worried about it.

I honestly thought I would have liked Kelly and Tabby's characters, but I never warmed up to them, and was not invested enough to see how their story played out

I iked the characters, the basic storyline and the addition of the Nerd pop culture. There are some heavier themes of healing and dealing with past and present difficulties, but they are handled well. The book is super quick with the spice but the romantic part of their relationship has a long, slow build up.

I think I liked this book a tiny bit better then the previous books, though the book is still too wordy and repetitive for me.

I've read both ebook and audiobooks and the narrator for this book, Zim Avaltrades, does a good job with the narration, which helped me like the book a little bit more.

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.

This is a new to me author and I got hooked right away. Kelly is struggling with dealing with past abuse when she meets Tabby. Tabby has her own insecurities she is fighting that have kept her from finding her true partner. What starts as a one night hook up grows into a friendship that helps them heal, and let them love fully. A beautifully written story on how damaging mental and physical abuse can be and how hard it is to move past. I cannot wait to read more books by this author.

Wonderful book, I was hooked from the first chapter and really connected with both main characters. They were so beautifully written, complex and deep, they felt so real. And they had absolutely amazing chemistry. This book is sweet and steamy and at the same time deals with very serious issues. And the found family themes just warmed my heart. I really like this group of friends and can't wait for the next book!
Also, Tabby is my dream girl, butch and geeky, just perfect. And Kelly's business idea in the book was brilliant!
If you are in the mood for a great sapphic romance I highly recommend this book.

I really really loved the narrator. Wonderful voice, she brought Kelly and Tabby to life. I had a blast listening the audiobook.

This was an absolutely delightful geeky book! The characters are so well written and I love how Kelly’s grief is handled. It’s not a normal response and that’s okay. Found family is a huge favorite of mine and this just hit all the right buttons. It’s part of a series, but can be read as a standalone. But why not enjoy the whole series?

This might just be my favorite book in this series. It is full of people healing, roller derby, and bi pride. It was clearly made for me.

Fair warning, the backstories of both characters aren't pretty... Kelly was in an abusive relationship and Tabby has had to deal with a homophobic family all her life... but when they get together it's a beautiful thing and a pleasure to read....

Having followed the entire Dungeons and Dating series, and seeing the hints that were dropped about Kelly's relationship with her girlfriend throughout the series, you know that there's a hurt/comfort element going to be present in this story, but it's done so well that it's not glaringly obvious, even to the main characters and that's what I love about Katherine McIntyre's stories - they are both subtle and obvious, loud and quiet.... and it just keeps pulling you back into the story.

B-
Compelling, sexy ff butch/femme bi romance. The romance was emotionally satisfying but the writing wasn't completely to my taste. I noticed some repetitive words and phrases that took me out of the story. Read the sample. This is part of a series but it seemed pretty stand alone to me, having not read the earlier books.
