Some fun stories in here, but I'm realizing that erotic short stories aren't enough for me. I need more build-up. Which is hilarious because I often skim the filler scenes in longer erotica. I'm human and my tastes are nonsense.

This book is mostly sweet. I guess my biggest complaint is the one I have with almost all erotica, which is that most of the stories are too formulaic. I ask the impossible, I know. I am not really just talking about narrative structure, but the particular sex acts, or the drama of them. And I think tighter, more interesting backstories add that tension, but then I also hate all that clunky exposition. But most of them are hot enough. Although the story about the homeless punk with the crack-addicted girlfriend... I really don't get why that was included, it was about 3/4 sob story and 1/4 fucking. UNACCEPTABLE. We'll see how the last few are.
