I'm torn on this one. The narrator was pretty good with doing different voices, though they were nothing like the actors from the show.
But the story was a bit underwhelming and highly predictable.
Also Grim is OBVIOUSLY Frankie's Angel. Which is why Spike hates him so much. And Frankie is still kind of annoying. Especially about Grim.
I did like Jake's character development. But he was one of the only ones with any true character development, just him and Simon. And a tiny bit from Willow/Oz. But none really from Frankie.
I liked the introduction of Seraphina. And a few of the others. I really hope Sam is a big part of book three.
Overall a meh book.
