Another Twilight Zone that I am iffy on that is okay but nothing great.

Hangnail on a Monkey's Paw - Not a fan, didn't get it. Why is he caring for a war criminal?

Cold Calculation - Reminded me of those old sci fi shows. Really didn't care for this.

It's All In How You Frame It - What do all the colors mean? What's soul is evil and what soul good? What soul is kinda good but not really? I like the concept but I don't think it was executed well.

I received this from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This doesn't live up to the classic episodes of the television show, but some of the stories have some decent ideas and are executed okay. However, many of the stories suffer from the short format, only just starting to hit their stride when the twist is delivered. The art style is definitely eighties inspired, sometimes creating a mishmash with stories that try hard to be relevant to today's times.

I haven't seen Twilight Zone, so that might be one of the reasons why I believed this comic to be so confusing, and frankly not very good.

I didn't like the story, and most of it was so weird, that about halfway through, I just lost interest. It was really not for me, but perhaps there are others who will get what I assume are references or inside jokes and will appreciate it a lot more than I did.

It just wasn't for me.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

Classic Twilight Zone stories! The twists! The turns!

Stumbling Distance was a great way to kick off this volume.

Jailbreak was so freaking weird! But perfect. I had to read the ending twice to absorb it.

Takers was good. Bizarre. But another classic TZ tale.

Initiation was a good TZ tale.

A few weren't my favorite.

Not Faire was well-done - but the ending was a tad confusing to me. Hangnail on a Monkey's Paw was a bit hard to follow. But it ended up great. It's All in How You Frame It was a tad anti-climactic. But still interesting. I wasn't a huge fan of Laughing Matter.

But I loved The Secret Over-Sharer.

Cold Calculation was excellent commentary and a great story.

And The Comics Code was the perfect story to end on.

Thanks to NetGalley, Diamond Distributors, and Dynamite Entertainment for a copy in return for an honest review.

The classic parallel universe stories with a modern take in comic form. What sounds better than that?
Thank you Netgalley and Dynamite Entertainment for the ARC. Full review on my blog.
