It's so nice to go back and re-read the story as the comic is on hiatus but better to own my own copy. I'm still enjoying the modern settings and the way that Smythe has reconstructed the characters as she tells her narrative. It's a definite slow burn between Hades and Persephone as they're both still dealing with their own things as well as their trying to control their continuous flirtng, which is just not helping them.
A lot of additional characters have their moments in this volume as the romance takes a step back to allow the story to build on what was already introduced in the previous volumes plus the cliffhanger ending, again, on this one.
This volume collects episodes 103–126 of the Webtoon Comic

For example: Zeus always cheats, kills, and generally does evil things when he is disrespected or unhappy with other beings agency; Hera stays with him despite it, yet she is fierce and amazing. How to deal with that? How to present characters in such a way that these things can coexist. The same applies to Apollo, who is loved by his fierce twin sister Artemis. How to present a rapist, while also showing him as someone who is loved by the lovely Artemis? Why would she?
Moderate: Sexual assault, Toxic friendship, Stalking, Sexism, Panic attacks/disorders, Infidelity, Grief, Emotional abuse, Gun violence, Toxic relationship, Mental illness, and Gaslighting
