I think this book won me over more than I anticipated. This starts out real weird with Niko kidnapping Cassie from her abusive husband. He then takes her and locks her in his room. They then develop a relationship based on that. Do I think the relationship threads are flimsy? Yes. Did this book have me giggling and kicking my feet? Also yes. I think the details and story line were definitely compelling (albeit messed up). My issue stems from the abrupt ending. I know this is part of a series but, it feels very unfinished. I am not inclined to read the other books but, I am curious about how the story ends.

Okay first of all, slay literally that one of the main characters only speaks ASL. Secondly it’s good as a hades x Persephone, but like the
Stockholm Syndrome
gives me the ick sometimes
