Loved the series overall but this book was focused on some storylines that just aren’t for me like pregnancy, the slutty cousin, and amar being suddenly pushy about the MCs diet. Meh. The background story was interesting with the brothers, the haunted tannery and everything else I wish the focus had been on that. Still would recommend the series, this one book just wasn’t for me.

Rushed wrap up

The last book in the series, this feels like a little bit of a rush to wrap things up when they didn't have anymore plot to give. Not bad, just not AS good.

Overall, this was a cute series. Not perfect, but still fun and easy to read. I have probably rated "better" books 3-4 stars, but this met every expectation I was looking for in a series. Very much a right time, right place series.

Probably my biggest gripe throughout the whole series was her being a vegetarian. To clarify, first off, I have zero qualms with her actually being vegetarian. However, in the first book it is made to seem that her transition was fairly recent and was strictly for health reasons, not for moral reasons. But throughout the series, comments in regards to her decision to move to a vegetarian diet often seemed like it was at least in part due to morality of butchering animals. It just kind of bugged me. Well, that and her sometimes poor decision making skills. But none of it was a deal breaker. I still liked Morgen and liked Amar. Zoe, I'm not so sure about her. Wendy I've grown to like and Sian is definitely an interesting character as is Doc. Maybe we'll see more of these guys in the future. I would definitely read more of the stories set near Wolf Wood.

Morgen (the witch) and Amar (the werewolf) do battle with other witches, werewolves and ghosts while trying to end a curse on a haunted tannery.

Charmed & Dangerous is an entertaining conclusion to the series. It's like an '80s one-hit-wonder ... you kind of know there isn't much to it but it's fun and while it lasts enjoyable.

Such a cute series! I always read them so fast because the story seems to be very fast paced- even after 5 books. Would definitely read more!
