I didn't realise this was a reverse harem book. The idea was pretty cool, the aliens are frigging weird. I would have liked a drawing. The last half was a bit boring and predictable. I kept on picturing Belle and Gaston from beauty and the beast.

I was pleasantly surprised by this one. This book was certainly different than I was expecting. It is a very unique, fun and twisted version of the little red riding hood story. World-building was great. The book has very distinct character development, and I enjoyed each personality.

2021: I decided to re-read this for a challenge and since I’ve come to like other books by this author I thought maybe I’d change my mind. The first half isn’t bad, solid 3 stars or so, but I ended up skimming the last 30% or so. Just wasn’t a fan and felt like too many things were added in. But hey, at least I gave it a try!
2019 dnf: I can't remember exactly where I stopped reading this, but I did DNF it.
I'm not rating this one because... I mean, I don't think it is a bad book, it is one that just wasn't working for me. I'm was enjoying it, but when we finally got to the actual sex parts I realized I didn't want to visualize it. I need my aliens a wee bit more human.
Although I'm not sure how the world ended up in the apocalyptic version it is sooo that was a bit weird trying to understand.
Look, if you like sweet alien romances with some action to them and don't mind suspending belief a bit (seriously why didn't she just cut off her hair???), then I think this is one you'll enjoy.

Ok here's the thing: I went into this expecting full on smut. Smut Overload. I was ready.
But surprise, surprise I got story instead. I was willing to give it a shot, maybe it would be interesting. Or maybe it would just be a trap and the story will turn to full on smut in short order.
Again surprise, it didn't. In fact we get our first sexual situation almost at the halfway point. ◀ That should be a plus right? Normally yes, but not this time cause the story for BORING. Watching paint dry would have been more interesting and I have actually done that so I know.
Then the story turned stupid so I Nope'd my way outta there. Too bad cause it had *le potential*.
