i am devastated that this series is over. i absolutely adored the journey that stephanie garber took us on and i can't wait to see what she writes next 🥹
i don't think this was as good as tbona, despite rating them the same. however, i was definitely way more attached to the characters and the story, so that played a part into how i rated acftl for sure. yea, it wasn't a perfect finale, but then again perfection is pretty much impossible to achieve. at the end of the day, these books fulfilled a part of my inner child that i didn't even know existed, and i had such a wonderful time following evangeline and jacks's adventures. they will be missed 🩵
