A fever dream, is what this was! But holy shit, I loved it. The writing style won’t be for everyone - & I’m honestly shocked I enjoyed it as much as I did.

Just when you think you have this story figured out, you’re wrong. And that happens MULTIPLE times throughout the book. I really can’t even tell you what this is about, or it’ll spoil everything. Just know it’s a wild, confusing, weird ride. And I loved it so much!

If you manage to get through the confusion of the first quarter of the books, I promise you'll be rewarded with a great story. Can't stop thinking about this.

Wow, this was one of the most surprising reads of this year!

'This is the story of a murderer. A stolen child. Revenge. This is the story of Ted, who lives with his daughter Lauren and his cat Olivia in an ordinary house at the end of an ordinary street. All these things are true. And yet some of them are lies. You think you know what's inside the last house on Needless Street. You think you've read this story before. But you're wrong. In the dark forest at the end of Needless Street, something lies buried. But it's not what you think...'

When I read that one of the multiple perspectives in this story is a cat, I was sold instantly. This book is a wild ride, extremely confusing for for the most part, but an absolute delight. This book is undeniably a captivating conversation starter, brimming with intriguing darkness. There were moments when I questioned the very essence of what I was reading, yet it only heightened my enjoyment. It's a unique literary experience that stands apart from anything I've encountered before, and I relished every bit of it.

It's difficult to say more without giving too much away. Just read it, you won't regret it.

Well-written and original story, but it seemed a long way to go — like so much effort was put into tricking the reader instead of writing a great book.

This book is kind of hard to get through, I feel like it’s really slow and drags on. It did pick up about half way through and started to get really good and I had high hopes for a good ending but instead I feel like it was predictable and fell a little flat. It’s also super confusing and I just didn’t like it.
