What a twist at the end! Decent ending, but it was dragging on a bit at times.

I enjoyed this book, it's not mind blowing but it does make you curious about what's happening and you can't help but continue reading it.

A wonderful story that held mystery, thrill, drama, and the ending that just made you feel complete. I could not figure out the mystery till about 85% in. I really enjoyed all the characters and the plot.

This started off okay, and did hold my attention most of the way through, but the ending was very disappointing. I don't really like when novels are written in present tense, but otherwise the writing was fine, so I'd try something else by the same author.

This had such a feeling of dread and a strong undercurrent of terror - it was really well done!

I thought the overall story was a bit sloppy. Neve wasn’t a very sympathetic character and while she grew up as the story progressed, the beginning set a bit of a rocky caricature. I never truly resonated with her as a character.

The Finn bits could have been left out entirely. The author had a good book, don’t try to do too much and spoilt it!

The ending fell a bit flat for me. The book was suspenseful and gaining momentum... then, it just rather tapered out.

I’m going to try another book by the same author and see what I think. The potential is there, it just needs to be a bit more ironed out.
