Book 8 opens with Demon experiencing a hangover. While I agree this fits in well with Valhalla and the gods, IMO it isn't appropriate for the book's intended age group.
Past the hangover part, this book was a great mix of mythology and comedy. I read this with one of my 9 yo boys and we both enjoyed it. My son loved the farting dragons and unicorns that hate boys. We'll be picking up more in this series.
