Friends to Lovers!!!

Dallas and Zora have been best friends since the 6th grade. That all changes on a trip to Vegas, when as the title states, they wake up married. The love that they have for each other as friends quickly changes to a different kind of love filled with passion. I really enjoyed reading about them because they were such a lovable couple and I enjoyed their journey of love. Zora needed a special man to love her deeply and she found him in her best friend. Reading about the characters from previous books in the series was a delight too. I have loved this series from the beginning and Ms. Ryan did a wonderful job with Dallas and Zora.

This was the first book I have read by this author. I liked both characters, but I was kind of surprised they had such difficulties expressing their feelings for one another.

Based on the description of their relationship, it seems like it would have been a conversation they had before. Also, was it supposed to be the alcohol, the edibles, or the fact they didn't want to own up to something they probably wanted to do anyway that made them completely blank out on their night in Vegas?

I really felt like Dallas was more into Zora than she was into him, at least until the very end. I wish I had felt the chemistry more at the beginning than right at the end of the book.

This was a sweet, romantic, friends to lovers tale that ended in an HEA. I would rate it at 3.5 stars. I am going to go back and start with book 1.

I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book received via Booksprout.

I loved the concept but I felt that the book dragged on for a while.

Oh my! I'm not sure where to start with this one. I've read this author before and always enjoyed her books, but this one was off the charts.

The friendship between Zora and Dallas is something that should be strived for in any relationship, even those that haven't been around as long as theirs has. They respect each other, they want what's best for each other and they just get each other. Once they realize their chemistry is combustible, there really is no stopping them.

It takes some work, but they realize that they are definitely better off as friends AND lovers.

This book was sooo good!
I loved the characters from the get go. They were so relatable and you were rooting for them the whole time. A great read for sure.
I am so happy I was able to get an advanced copy of this book!
