With the caveat that my son is only 4 1/2...this book was pretty disappointing. We often read "above grade level" nonfiction picture books because he is curious about how everything works, and I thought this would be a fun hook to learning about how a computer works, but he was really bored with it from the beginning. I tried twice and it just flopped. Love the concept and I wish it had worked! Maybe I'll try again in a couple of years...
An interesting story, but I'm not a hundred percent sure that kids are going to get out of it what they're supposed to. (They might just see the story, and not really gather the information about coding and parts of a computer.)
