Excellent sequel to A Good Girl's guide to murder. Extremely gripping, I burned through the audiobook in only a few days, finding every moment to find out what happened.
I liked the new angle with a live case now and we get to see the reaction of the family as well as the way the podcast episodes affect them. Again, it wasn't the biggest twist of all time and I was able to work out most of it before the reveal. Although I did think that
it was a little bit too obvious to have the new neighbours as the killers. You knew they had to have something to do with the case otherwise why had they been included?

This edition of the audiobook (because I belive there is another) was very well done with effects put in that really added to the story. However I am tempted to recommend you read this in print as there were several images in the story that were mentioned but that obviously I couldn't see. Also there is one section where a witness uses a voice modulator and it was completely impossible to tell what he was saying. Luckily it wasn't too crucial but it was kind of annoying
Looking forward to the 3rd book!

This book was so much better than the first one, and I loved the first one, so that's saying a lot. This one had me on the edge of my seat because it was an active investigation instead of one that had already been "solved," and I never saw the end coming.
I was so shook when it was revealed that Layla knew who Pip was. I thought something horrible was going to happen to her, and I cried when Stanley did, even though I didn't like him in the first book.<spioler>  Ant and Lauren are both pos's.

This book was absolutely fantastic! I was wondering how Holly Jackson would build on the first book and she did it perfectly. Every character, plot point and plot twist were written in the best way possible. I felt every emotion while reading this book.
From relief when I found out that Jamie was alive; to dread when Stanley died.
Overall, this book was wonderful and I can't wait to read the one.
