At some point I put this on my TBR list because I thought Manson seemed like an intelligent person, a man with a performative persona who wanted to challenge the world. Not true. There’s nothing special or intelligent about him, no deeper meaning. He’s a shock-artist, a person who does heinous things for the reaction and nothing else. This book is merely a vehicle for Manson to stroke his ego, nothing more than self-congratulatory filth. No one thinks more of Marilyn Manson than Marilyn Manson.
In conclusion, don’t read this book. It’s tired and gross. Not worth your time.
