It was overall a good book but the first 100 pages didn’t captivate me enough or provide me with enough emotion.

I'm surprised at the amount of negative reviews this book received. I enjoyed it. It wasn't as scary or thrilling as it could have been, I suppose. But I still feel I got a good perspective from each character, including the shooter. Interesting to see what leads up to it, and how each character was involved. Perhaps school shootings are something we will never fully understand, but this book gives a look into it, a different viewpoint than I gathered from different news articles.

I liked it. I wish it had done more? But it was good. I do recommend this book, especially considering the topic. I want to see more of this topic, see it explored more. But I think this is a good start.
