Compelling and thought provoking but also very confusing trying to keep track of all the different lives. I very much enjoyed it though!

A couple is arguing about whether the wife took her prenatal vitamins, but she didn't want to have kids to begin with. So begins this story that shows how different decisions in that pivotal moment take Rose and her husband down different life paths. Liked the concept, execution was okay.

One of the best books I've read in a long time. This book put into words all of the things I have thought and felt for years while feeling alone in my unsureness about motherhood and how that feels. I cannot suggest this book enough, especially to those who don't fit the "I was born to be a mother" mold.

I finished this book in less than 24 hours because it was light, and yet so gripping and powerful. This book beautifully laid out the way that your decisions, your values, your evolutions in opinions effect the course of your life without even realizing, or only in hindsight. To see Rose struggle with the emotions of love, loss, anger, and grief of all different kinds was poetically captured and made me feel heard in some of my own thoughts around motherhood and marriage.

Great book! I could relate to a lot of Rose’s feelings about marriage and motherhood. Hugged this book at the end.
