This is why I LOVE suspense!
So many books that I have read (especially in the Christian suspense category) are repetitive and predictable. Mind you sometimes I want predictable, but it is a breath of fresh air to stumble upon a book that grabs you and won't let go.
For me, Centralia by Mike Dellosso, is one of those few books!
The book starts out with the hero Patric awakening one morning, to find his wife and daughter missing. He is told that they died months ago.
Then as he is contemplating that he is being fed a lie, armed man storm his house. And so begins a non-stop sequence of events, that had me holding my breath and reading as fast as I could! Just when I thought I had it figured out, Mike threw in a monkey wrench. Mike did a wonderful job of weaving this story together, it is so rare to find a mystery where I can truly say "didn't see that coming."I gave this book to my brother (who is a very picky reader), and he read it faster than he has ever another book.
So guys and girls, if you love Christian suspense, I highly suggest you check this one out!
Happy Reading
