This was a quick read that felt very fresh and unrefined, like a diary or scribbled down thoughts. It felt like a testament to love and loss, pain and happiness. Anything a young girl might feel when facing life.

This is one of the first poetry books I’ve read in its entirety and I really enjoyed it! I’m a big fan of Lili, so it was really interesting to read more about her thoughts and feelings. I also related to several of the poems. I did feel like it got pretty repetitive by the end in terms of the concepts that were discussed in the poems. It was a super accessible first poetry book though!

I love it. It’s also perfect Valentine’s Day colours, which is strange considering the date. It’s wonderful, and definitely relatable. Couldn’t relate to the heartbreak ones as much, but I’m sure many people can

Mooi! En dan vooral de korte en 1-pagina gedichten, die lange vond ik vaak té lang doorgaan en ik was al weer afgeleid. Maar de korte/1-pagina gedichten. WAUW. Ik heb echt onwijs genoten van een flink aantal van die, een aantal die ik zeker wil onthouden om aan mijn lief vertellen.
Sommige gedichten waren verdrietig, sommige somber, sommige gingen over verdriet, vooral liefdesverdriet. Ik kon me ook in deze gedichten vinden. Het raakte me vaak.
Blij dat ik dit boek heb meegenomen, wist niet dat het deze week poeziëweek is, maar dat komt dus even mooi uit. :)

I think she has potential to be a writer, but I didn’t connect to her words. I don’t think she showed us what she was really feeling, all the poems were kinda empty. Something was missing.

This is a really lovely collection of poems, most of which are about heartbreak, anxiety, and just the general sense of how much time we have in one lifetime.
