I loved this series so much, I'm so sad that it's finished. I tried to read this finale as slowly as I could to savour my last journey with the Cricket, but all good things must come to an end. A fantastic ending for all my favourites, and a wonderful future ahead. Loved it! I highly recommend this entire series.

Awww I felt pretty emotional by the end of this one. I have really enjoyed this series and it took me a while to get through this last novel, not just because its longer but because I felt the disparate storylines took a while to come together in the first half of the book. Switching characters between chapters felt a bit jumpy, but the strands all came together in a way that was purposeful by the middle and I raced through the last third in three days.

I'll be sad to leave the Cricket, her crew and comrades but this was a fitting end. We've all grown a lot since Deus Ex Mechanic and I'm excited to read whatever this author writes next, safe to say she's got a fan for life here!
