I usually enjoy stories about alien arrivals, but this one is a bit of a letdown. Not much happens through the entire book. It's more of a character study about a struggling couple moving to a small town in Nevada. It would probably be better if it just focused on that and didn't throw in a half-hearted alien storyline.
