If you're new to the thriller genre I think this would be a good read, it's very fast paced, albeit I thought the flash forwards to the people after the event were unnecessary.

Sadly I predicted every twist so there was no mystery or shock as revelations were made.

dark mysterious tense

4.0

This was a very good and twisty thriller which kept me guessing the whole time! First of all the start of the story is absolutely amazing and very dark! The story follows Sylvie and her relationship to her long-time friend Tess. There are moments in the past and presence. Besides this storyline we also get to see the main character work at court again. By now you should know that I very much enjoyed the legal aspect of the first two books by the author and it was no difference with It Ends At Midnight. It was a very enjoyable and quick read for me but I wasn't as invested as I was in the first two books by Tyce. I even was a little scared of the progress of the story but luckily everything worked out later in the story. I can actually see myself rereading this book at some point because of the way it was written and I think I would enjoy it a little bit more the second time around.
