Wow
Not my normal cup of tea at all, but I needed a change and when I saw this one recommended on Goodreads I didn’t hesitate! Eerie, scary, sprinkled humor, heroism and a whole lot of snow. I really loved this book!

I read this whole thing in one sitting. There’s just no good stopping point. I’m was literally shaking with anxiety while reading. This would be a good movie but not one is ever be able to watch. Totally unbelievable and far fetched but a true thriller. I’d 100% recommend it if that’s a genre you like.

Neglected my assignment because this book is just unputdownable. It took place in only less than a day, but the story is so chilling. Twists after twists that I didn't see coming. Nothing went in our main character's way. I have to say Taylor Adams is a genius. This book is truly horrifying, and it provided a good look into a psychopath's mind as well. I freaking love our main character, and I feel like she was honestly a hero. I will definitely just die if something like this happen to me.
This is so good!!!

4.5 ⭐️ This was a solid thriller. It was very suspenseful. I had some anxiety through out the book because I realized that I still had 150 pages to go and it was already pretty intense. It didn’t stop until the epilogue. It was one thing after another. It was frustrating and heartbreaking. I will never look at a nail gun the same way.
I could have done with out the racial slurs because they had absolutely nothing to do with the storyline. Completely unnecessary.

This is one of the best action/thriller/horror books I’ve ever read. I could never get comfortable with the story because there was a twist around every corner. Very well written with a great ending. Well worth your time.

Not sure what I feel about this one, I’m going to say middle of the road but I have issues!
There are a couple of elements in the book which were wholly irrelevant to the plot and, to my mind, simply reflected badly on the author and genuinely left a bad taste in the mouth.
The last third of the book, however, was gripping, tense and exciting…and bloody annoying!

Okay, I know I said during a review of one of Peter Swanson's books that the number of twists detracted from the quality of the book. One might wonder why I rated this book so much better than that one, since this book might have more twists but I think it was due to how much the twists added to the story and sense of tension.
I had to stay up till 3 am to finish this book even though I'm battling the flu because I could not sleep without knowing what happened to poor little Jaybird.
