I loved this! Lily and Tom are adorable and I enjoyed this take on enemies-to-lovers since no one was a jerk, AND it has forced proximity (two of the best romance tropes out there, imo). The story was the perfect length for their romance to blossom naturally but didn't draw it out longer than necessary. Bernice and Barry are also both delightful, the writing is both cute and funny, and the overall story is as much a coming-of-age tale as it is a romance. I was smiling the whole time and often laughed out loud!

A quiet, sweet Audible Original. This is my first ever Christmas Romance… or really any Romance and it was exactly what I wanted exactly when I wanted it. It is filled with all the lovely things avid Romance readers talk about when they talk about Romance: past lovers, a misunderstanding, things left unsaid, and two people who finally realize how silly they have been all these years.
Also, London, cutting down a Christmas tree, and a reindeer that bites the man who can’t get his act together and tell the woman he still loves her on the butt… or should I say bum.
I think Christmas Romance is my new tradition.

I really enjoyed this one. A perfect mixture of light, serious and funny all wrapped up in a Christmas setting. The narration was excellent as well.

⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 Audible original audiobook: this was the typical long lost lovers reunite at Xmas story…but it was funny and the female lead did what she wanted to make herself happy, which I appreciate.
