Two of the bests of H G Wells. So original and interesting.

The Time Machine is another one of those books I have always meant to read, but never made time for. I am so glad I did over the weekend. Quick listen to this audio book and I want to re-watch the movie now!

The story itself was interesting, however the writing style literally made me fall asleep. I'm not sure what exactly the problem was, I just couldn't enjoy, needed to finish it as an audiobook.
An issue I had with the storyline (which appears in many other books too), is that everyone besides the main character was an idiot. The curate was unstable, the artilleryman simply crazy, and many people either over- or underreacted.
