A short story which sets up the fourth book which is all about Eli and Kay.
I quite liked it - Eli apparently has done some terrible things which no-one could ever forgive him for if they knew - honestly I doubt it!
Also, I find the matriarch, Julia Alexander, creepy. Sorry, but the woman takes babies away from the parents - that's a bit scary.

This is the first story I've read by this author and I truly enjoyed it. Looking forward to reading the full length story of Kay and Eli.
