Loved the first, enjoyed the second, thought the third was okay.

All of these books are a total escape fantasy... by the time I made my way through this one I knew so many of the Hokkien and “Singlish” expressions Kwan scatters through the books, I felt really immersed in the world. A mostly satisfying conclusion to the trilogy and a lot of fun!

The perfect book to get me out of a bit of a reading slump. Silly and fun.

Still not as good as the first but I really enjoyed watching the family come together and all the loose ends tie together. I don't know what to rate this because I really did not enjoy the way mental health was depicted in this book, I felt like it was just used as a plot device.

Cute and a perfect ending. Can’t wait for the second movie to come out.. someday.
