This was a well-written, solid story. Build around the blooming relationship between three men, with some gritty criminal cases and related action.
Meanwhile, we get to know them better and understand their situation and hurt.

I loved it to see them vulnerable, I got emotional knowing their past.

Zeke is on a personal warpath, finding the one he couldn’t save, Riot wants to protect, and Cole is our artist who perfectly fits.

At some point, the situation is getting worse and worse. I only will say: Mind the trigger warnings.
The story was well-balanced, on one side a lot of dark matters, on the other side enough heat, delicious interactions, and a whole bunch of love.
One tiny tiny personal thingy, I didn’t like their endearments, sorry, just wanted it out.
Overall a very entertaining, gritty, suspenseful, and at times super hot read with lovable characters.

Riot has always lived in the Havok Hills Brotherhood, even though he never wanted this life. He is second jn command to the boss, has a constant hook up with the sexy hacker Zeke and found family that he never expected. But he wants more, something besides all the darkness. He wants Zeke to love him with the same force he feels. Zeke has his own demons and dark past that keep him from letting his heart from behind those protective walls. He keeps seeing the light coming from Cole - the innocent bartender that has no real connection to Havok Hills - Riot wonders what might happen if he could have the best of both worlds, Zeke and Cole. These three have tragic pasts and many twists to come.

This is my second MM/MMM romance and I have come to realize that it’s not really my thing. I have no problem with people being gay, love who you want to love, but it is not my favorite trope. I do love this series and cannot wait to see what happens next.

If you love past trauma, hurt, healing, and found family this book has it in droves! H.C. Riley has created a world full of danger, deception, loyalty, comfort, and love.

I can’t say enough about this book. The story line was phenomenal. The plot twists leaving you wanting more, but you get a fantastic HEA.

The character development with Zeke, Riot and Cole will break you down and build you back up. What these three go through is heartbreaking but how they come together to get their HEA makes it all worth it.

This book is an emotional journey and I loved every second of it. The spice and chemistry between them is 🔥and H.C.Riley did a great job handling spicy times with three men, 😉

Did I expect to have my heart ripped out? Yes. Did my jaw still drop every time something happened that had me screaming “no?” Also yes lol. I’m not sure what HC puts in these books but they’re so addicting.

The third book in the series follows Riot, Cole, and Zeke, who we’ve gotten glimpses of in the past two books. I love interconnected series like this where I already love the characters before I get their full story which is exactly the case with this one.

The amount of angst, trauma, and beautiful story telling that HC delivers will never cease to amaze me. These three go through.. more than any one person should but while putting themselves back together, they learn to love so deeply. I won’t say much more but just know that this was such a beautiful story. And the twists were twisty!
