Christine was horror for white men in the 80s… but I didn’t hate it.

I found the plot very drawn out (very stephen king) but was impressed by the depth of the story. I knew going in it was a killer car situation but was fascinated by the back story we get of the previous owner and his ties with Christine. I also couldn’t help but notice King references to ‘IT’ ( saying the car is not a she but and IT) a little foreshadowing for upcoming work perhaps?

I was lost on the car descriptions and football scenes. Also the cast was male heavy and just wasn’t my fav.

You just don't take your best friends girl. But I liked the story line. It was a good thrilling ride. Debatable about the choices made by king in it. It was hard to tell if it was Lebay taking over Arnie or the car had some kind of supernatural powers in order to connect them both. Other then that I loved the rest of the story line and the deterioration of Arnie, that led to his derailment and for Dennis to step up to try and help h but in the end it just didn't work out.
