The author's revelations were really not noteworthy. The psychiatrist seemed trained in CBT and wasn't truly able to talk to the wider issues that probably developed her way of thinking, and until the end, the author really only talked about what she hated, was annoyed with, and feared. I got little sense that she gained more compassion for herself or others in a significant way...and that ending was random and abrupt. I'm kinda disappointed :/ I wanted to like this one a lot, but nothing stuck.
