Christians and skeptics alike would certainly find this an interesting read. What a fascinating allegory.

Let me just say I appreciate Lewis, but I’m not his biggest fan. This book is a good short view of heaven and hell. We get to follow a traveler’s dilemma of traveling further into heaven on grass that stings or return to the bus to hell. He encounters many people who are asking the same questions. Lewis is witty and clever in how he tells this story, and he does pose some very thought-provoking questions and imagery.

I enjoyed reading this book but I think it's worth going back over. It's the first CS Lewis book I've read that isn't Narnia based, aka adult book. The story is pretty simple yet I think I probably missed many of the nuances within it. From comparing this version of Heaven with that in The Last Battle I found that I like Lewis's interpretations. I will definitely go on to read more of his books.

This book is an amazing depiction of the divide between Heaven and Earth. The torment that could occur on Earth and the glory in Heaven.

CS Lewis is my favorite for a reason and that reason is depth. It’s always amazing to see how much he can fit into short fiction.

As usual, C.S, has the wildest story for us full of what it means to live a “good” life and how having a good life doesnt mean crap in the end. We make up our own definitions of what is “good” and forego the truest definition of good which is God and His abounding love and how he seeks relationship with us! A crazy wild wacky read!
