I thought this leaned too hard into "running a cafe out of the high school" and not hard enough into the relationship between Theo and Gabi. The cafe part seemed so obviously futile that I wasn't interested in that aspect of the novel, but I did like the two characters and how they weren't stereotypes.

the plot was okay and i actually like the main characters. but somehow, the other characters just dont grow on me and some of them feels, 'huh?' idk how to explain it better but it makes me feel like the author have no idea how to write side characters having twists so yeah.
