Well that was…something. There was a lot going on in this. Interesting at times and other times boring. I could careless about the Matt/Fell’s Church parts. The Dark Dimension was intriguing, but certain plot lines in it felt so unnecessary and prolonged. I did love how Damon and Elena centered this was. You could see the tension between them and that they do care for each other.
With how this ended I’m interested to see how it comes together in the third book.

This book was first good and in the middle part it became so damn boring and I wanted to read the last chapter and read another book but I forced myself to read this and after about 250 pages of boredom the book got interesting

Didn't even bother to complete, nor is there anything urging to. As for Elena, self-obsessed, i may start to hate my most favorite tv show if i ever continue reading this book. Sorry ms. smith TVD t.v series does an amazing job, than this. I'm giving up on the series entirely.

I watched the show before reading the books. The show is so much better. I think maybe back in my younger days, I would eat this up. I didn't like the characters very much. They aren't well written. They don't have any background. I just wished for more.
