I enjoyed the storyline of this book. With the first book of this series I had fun predicting what was going to happen. This book didn't have as many mysteries to predict in it and some of the mysteries didn't come to fruition (not yet, at least). The writing is done well and the story/characters feel natural and believable. These books take a while to process and comprehend for me because of the language and detail in which every home, gown and reaction is described. If you enjoy romance with a lil drama and like the thought of fancy ball gowns, lavish homes and the looming pressure of social decorum in the 19th century--this book is for you!
