I think the rest of this series will be just as good. The storyline is predictable and sweet but you enjoy the love they build together as a family

This is the first novel and series I have discovered by this author. A quick and easy read where this story entails a relationship based on assumptions.
Dr. Vera Rios is newly divorced and adjusting to single parenthood with her daughter. One random meeting with patient Rowan Forrester stirs up thoughts inside her head. One date leads to other dates and each time she is showered with attention and being cherished whenever they are together; however, hesitant for more because this perfect man is an escort.
Is Rowan what she needs? All she knows is how she feels when they are together. Then more inferences come into play making happiness to grasp that more difficult. This 3.5 stars recommended read will make you think twice on judging someone just by their actions and their lifestyles.

This was actually more of a 3.5 star read for me. The story was short, and felt a little rushed to me, especially on the romance side of things. I did like the characters overall and felt that they were easy to connect to, but Rowan's deception got taken a bit too far for my tastes. Vera also ended up a bit to wishy-washy as well, sending mixed signals when things got rough. All things considered, it was a well written story, but lacked any real depth. Not sure I want to continue the series.

This story is about Verra, a single working mom (she's a doctor) of Allison. Verra meets Rowan Forrester, who came into the clinic for some tests and Verra presumes he is a male escort.
As Rowan and Verra begin to fall in love, Verra discovers Rowan's true job, which creates a few issues they are able to work through.
As their relationship progresses, Verra's ex finds some ghosts in Rowan's past and threatens to take away what is most precious to Verra.
Will the truth come out or will too many things work against them.
