Loved reading about Wren and Theo’s adventures and seeing their relationship develop but man that ending just left me hanging too much! Is there going to be a book #2? Apparently I’m not a cliff hanger-lover but it sounds like a lot of people actually liked that, so to each their own.

Trigger warnings: impending apocalypse, violence, vomit, mental illness, panic attacks.

This was both utterly delightful and the dumbest freaking book I think I've ever read, and I LOVED IT. Was it predictable af? Yes. Did I care? No. I love a roadtrip story and I love a omg-he's-a-prince?? story, and I'm partial to a dystopian story, and this was all of those things wrapped up in one.

Add in a rescued dog and I was absolutely on board. I *was* slightly salty about the ending - in that I shrieked like a banshee - and then I immediately went to check if there's a sequel and there is so it's all fine.

(That being said, I would love it if the cover were, uh, not terrible)

I would have read this book in one sitting if I had planned better.

I loved this book. It was fast paced, witty, and interesting. I enjoyed seeing what the characters would get up to next. Both characters had internal conflicts to solve throughout the story.

I’m not wild about the ending because I like my plots to be very neatly tied up. I also kept getting side tracked by how…. YA this apocalypse was. I just feel like the world would go south a little bit faster. Limited mention of crime, death, etc. However, YA is just not what I read these days so I’m used to be my books being darker.
