Meh. I was rooting for it to not be so predictable but it was and then I couldn’t get past how much the actual story arcs of each character weren’t hitting for me. The romance and chemistry might as well have faded to black.

I really liked this one, i liked the fact that Dante had to work his ass of to get Vivian back. Normally it always goes so fast. Every time i saw the names of the twisted series cast I shouted. Amazing

This book made me feel good, with some comfort in knowing that everything would work out for our main characters in the end, just what I needed at the time. It also has good supporting characters. You will definitely want to read their stories. It also has charm in the storytelling. And just enough hot scenes to keep you interested.
Looking forward to the next one.

Hot Damn! This duet style performance had me in a chokehold and I couldn't stop listening. This was my first audiobook with Emily Woo Zeller. I appreciate that the casting was representative for the main characters. I enjoyed her tone, but there were moments when I wanted to hear more emotion coming through from the character. Jacob Morgan employed an incredible Italian accent that I was not prepared for! Wow. He also voiced British and American accents as well as other side side characters and it was always easy to distinguish them. There were several scenes when he really delivered on the anger and emotion and I felt every second of it.

This is a marriage of convenience, enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine, slightly Beauty & the Beast retelling vibe.
