2nd read was much better

The first time I read this I wasn't a fan at all but reading this again for the 2nd book I really enjoyed it. It's probably best to go into this with minimal expectations as these characters are very different from what we might be used to with Star Wars

Certainly one of the better of the "new-canon" Star Wars novels. Much of it is pretty reminiscent of the old X-Wing books by Michael Stackpole. I'm looking forward to the next two books in this planned trilogy!

The characters were very flat and story fairly dull. Good idea, but i suppose the author was restricted in what he could tell. Another 2 books - i will read them as i want to read all the new canon (adult) books that are being released.

Liked this more than I expected, eager to continue the series. Darker with less levity than most of the “Legends” titles I’ve read
